There is more to why the proverbial “s%&t” of life happens. For example, in relationships, it’s more than romance “wearing off” and then the real drama starts. It’s more so that when sincerely seeking a companion or mate, we tend to be our truer selves, without expressing our “darker” sides. Once the deal is sealed, then “the rest of the story” unfolds.
I mention the term “darker side,” with no judgment. It’s not “bad” any more than our “lighter” side is “good.” However, it is the place where our fears, and the myriad vibrations, behaviors, and experiences that are spawned by them, are held. And, as long as we “hold on” to the energies that resonate with our fears, we’ll create experiences that flow from them, which in turn, will most likely become “s%&tty” memories.
That is, unless and when we transform the fear into something else, through embracing another more powerful energy; love.
Love transforms fear, transmutes life’s experiential “s%&t” and empowers us to transcend the boundaries that had once defined us. In fact, boundaries don’t define us. We define ourselves by the boundaries we pay the most attention to.
Notice the word “pay”. Attention is energy. Energy is life. When we pay attention to a life situation with fear — which could be with anything from resentment, anger, envy, grief, pity, or hatred — we’re paying life to it. We’re empowering the problem, making it stronger, and building upon it.
When we pay attention to life situations or possibilities that engender our enthusiastic passion, then they become stronger, and grow in likelihood.
One life purpose common to every human being lies in a power that is common to each: that is, transforming discordant or “negative” vibrational energies into harmonic ones. This is achieved, not by ignoring or distancing ourselves from the negative, but by embracing, integrating, and unifying said energies within. Our true power comes as we realize, accept, embrace, and embody the profound Oneness that permeates and empowers all life.
Duality is a perception, and a perception only. It fuels our sense of beginnings and endings, of birth and death, greater and lesser, right and wrong. In truth, none of these concepts are real. Oneness is the true nature of each of us; oneness with God, and with each Other. Embracing and reuniting the “yin” with the “yang” makes each of us “whole” in real terms. We do so by loving that which appears to be unlovable… within ourselves, and within others. In so doing, we do a great service to the whole; including the Earth itself, which, like the great Mother that she is, holds all of our unrequited energy, until we awaken to our true nature while yet on the earth journey.
The purpose of going through “s%&t” is not to torment or frustrate, but to catalyze us to enlighten and liberate ourselves… from poverty, dis-ease, bigotry, hatred, and resentment. It is to help us lift ourselves from the fires of frustration, angst, and fear, like the phoenix, to a new perspective.
The power rests within us all, and each of us has the key.
